Biographical Information:

Young women at Bais Yaakov School for Girls are challenged at the highest levels by science and math teacher Juli Shanblatt. Utilizing a variety of teaching techniques and demonstration methodologies, Shanblatt infuses lessons with new content while connecting subjects such as calculus and physics with real world examples. Students depart her classes with a lifelong appreciation for science and technology. Shanblatt personally developed Bais Yaakov’s Advanced Placement Physics program and devotes long hours to preparing students for the rigorous exam. She is an enthusiastic presence outside the classroom as well, whether chaperoning school events or extended field trips. A dedicated professional, Shanblatt chairs the school’s WASC/BJE Accreditation Committee and has been a leader in the development of self-study courses at the school.
